Elvis Presley Christmas With Elvis 1965 EP Picture Cover & Record in Nice Cond.

I don’t usually have or auction much Elvis vinyl because there is just soooooo much of it out there for sale. When I do list Elvis records, they are most often in better-than-normal condition like the NICE ONE in this auction!!

In this auction: 

·       “CHRISTMAS WITH ELVIS” by Elvis Presley  

·       This is RCA Victor Records EPA – 4340.

·       Both the cardboard picture cover and 45 RPM EP 7-inch record are included.

·       This is an EP (Extended Play) record with 2 cuts on each side.

·       Side 1 cuts are “White Christmas” and “Here Comes Santa Claus”. Side 2 cuts are “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem” and “Silent Night”.

·       There are several pressings of this EP: 1958, 1965, and 1969. According to my Goldmine Price Guide to 45 RPM Records (7th edition), this EP is the 1965 Pressing, because the VINYL has a black RCA Victor label with the dog located on the left side of the label. (In contrast, the 1958 label had the dog located at the top of the label, and the 1969 pressing has an orange, not black, label.)

·       I have noticed that MANY Elvis EP (cardboard) covers are in really rough condition with split seams, ragged corners, often with a lot of wear on them. Seams were quick to fail often resulting in seam splits when inserting and removing the record from the stiff cardboard cover. That is NOT the case with this item. The Seams and Corners are perfect!

·       The PICTURE COVER is graded NEAR MINT! It looks like new! Not even any corner pushes! There is NO WEAR on the seams at all! There are NO seam splits, NO writing, NO ring wear, and NO tears on this cover! Both the front and rear slicks are NICE and CLEAN. The images REALLY confirm a NICE COVER WITH VIRTUALLY NO WEAR.

·       The VINYL is graded STRONG VG CONDITION. The vinyl is nice and shiny with light hairlines/scuffs and 1 “feel-able” scratch on the vinyl. (Maybe you have a better copy of the vinyl to go with this beautiful picture cover?)
