ELVIS PRESLEY – “DOUBLE TROUBLE” – (LSP-3787) – First Pressing from 1967 with BONUS PHOTO!
RECORD: VG with many light surface scuffs & scratches. None of these can be felt with the fingertip. This Rockaway pressing should play quite well, but expect some random “ticks” in some areas, especially in softer parts of the music. The “Stereo” labels are without any writing or stickers, but they do appear to have gotten wet at some point in the past as they appear “wrinkly”. This Original Soundtrack recording includes the hit single “LONG LEGGED GIRL (With the Short Dress On)”. The matrix numbers end with 3S/3S.
COVER: VG+ with no ring wear, seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. There is, however, a mild center seam break along the upper edge as well as a few edge bruises at the open end. An upper left corner “bump” is noticed. The spine is sound and fully legible and the lower edge is smooth and consistent, showing minimal wear. A very original and attractive cover!
INNER SLEEVE: The original “ELVIS’ GREAT LP CATALOG” (40C) inner sleeve from the era. Edge splits are present.
BONUS PHOTO: VG++ (EXC) with original gloss, sharp corners and edges. There are no stains or any writing on this photo, but there is a handling bend just to the left of the word “Thanks”. A much lighter bend is on Elvis’ right shoulder (left side of the photo). These original Bonus Photos are drying up quickly in today’s market. Beware of cheap copies!
