You have the opportunity to bid on this FIRST PRESSING of Elvis' debut Long Play album, appropriately entitled "ELVIS PRESLEY" from 1956!! This is not the typical worn-out junk that you find in most used record shops. This is a well taken care of, adult-owned LP! Near Mint copies of this particular LP are valued upwards to $700, but this package is a strong VG+ for both vinyl and cover. There are some visible superficial scratches that should not have much of an effect on the audible enjoyment. The vinyl retains much original gloss with clean labels, which are free of writing or stickers, but there are spindle marks. The matrix numbers are G2 PP1282-3S on Side 1 and G2 PP1282-1S on Side 2. This is definitely a First Pressing as "Just Because" is credited to "P.D." (Public Domain) instead of Bob Shelton-Joe Shelton-Sid Robin as on later issues. The cover is BEAUTIFUL with no ring wear to speak of, but does have the typically encountered top seam split of about 5 inches. The spine is fully intact and readable but there is some shelf wear at the corners. There is absolutely NO TAPE, writing or grafitti anywhere on this cover! I would grade this cover a strong VG+ in spite of the top split because it is so clean, overall, with vibrant colors! This LP even comes with its original "onion skin" inner sleeve, albeit torn in places. I am not placing the starting bid in the "peanuts" range, but starting off with a more than fair amount. Expect very spirited bidding in the last 20 seconds and bid with confidence!

Records are visually graded according to my 25 years of experience in the hobby. Records are shipped in proper cardboard record mailers.
