Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a 1977 Stereo Reissue of the RCA Victor original 1956 release. "Elvis" was his second album release.
- This copy has never been played.
- RCA changed the selection number for this reissue (probably for a price change). This is one of the early pressings from that series when RCA used album covers with the former selection number and they used a sticker with the new selection number on the spine (see photos).
- The cover has tight seams and shows almost no wear.
- The inner sleeve is the RCA Elvis catalog on both sides.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new at Tower Records, Sunset in LA in 1977. It has been in storage for 44 years.
Disc: (1977) RCA Black label, dog near top.
The cover has "SER" printed on the front and back lower left corner (see images).
This is pressed by RCA Records Pressing Plant, Indianapolis as identified by the "Ⅰ" in the runouts along with the characteristic 1 inch diameter label pressing ring.
