Description

Up for auction is Elvis Presleys first album for RCA Records titled "Elvis Presley". It's RCA Victor LPM 1254. It was issued in 1956. This album is a very early pressing because of the inscription "New Orthophonic" high fidelity" appearing under the RCA Dog instead of appearing to the far right in later pressings. This album is the best one I've seen of all the first albums I have seen in my collecting career. The vinyl is near mint to mint with no lines or scuffs which is remarkable considering the album is 56 years old. It plays great and looks like it has only been on a turntable a very few times. The cover is beautiful and is near mint to mint, The labels areVG++ to near mint. This album comes with the original inner sleeve which is also near mint. All in all a great album.

I'm going to start this gem at a very reasonable $199.00. Good luck to all bidders.
