ELVIS PRESLEY – “G. I. BLUES” (LSP-2256) – FIRST PRESSING IN “LIVING STEREO” FROM 1960
RECORD: VG+ Hollywood pressing with clean, glossy surfaces. I test-played this album in its entirety and it played great with that great RCA Victor “LIVING STEREO” sound! Being that this Original Soundtrack recording is not Near Mint, there are some light, random “ticks” heard in areas. “BIG BOOTS” is a soft lullaby, therefore, those “ticks” were heard mainly on that track. There were definitely no skips or repeats at any time during play. Being a Hollywood pressing, the labels on this record are simply stunning with great, stand-out colors! Just a few light spindle marks and a small amount of wear is noticed about the spindle hole. This original, First Pressing bears matrix numbers ending with 3S/3S.
COVER: VG+ with absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes whatsoever! There is just simple, honest wear, including light surface scuffing from contact with other LP’s as well as some edge & corner wear.
INNER SLEEVE: The original gray RCA Victor sleeve from the era.
