Description

ELVIS PRESLEY - “GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS!” (LSP-2621), AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1962 THAT INCLUDES THE RARE AND HIGHLY COVETED 1963 CALENDAR!         RECORD: VG+ on the high end of the grade, with beautiful, glossy surfaces! There are just a few too many light surface scuffs that causes this Hollywood pressing to fall short of the VG++ (EXC) grade. There are no scratches on the record that can be felt with the fingertip. I did test-play this Original Soundtrack Recording in its entirety and the vocals and instrumentation are clear and bold. There were a few sporadic "ticks" in some areas, but nothing that overrode the audible enjoyment. The labels are simply beautiful, NM and exhibiting that "look" that is typical of Hollywood; brilliant colors with vibrant silver lettering on semi-gloss black labels. This album was released in November of 1962. It includes the hit single "Return To Sender / Where Do You Come From". The matrix numbers end with 5S/5S.    COVER: VG++ (EXC) with absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. I don't even see any ring wear on this cover! The edges as well as the spine are smooth, consistent and fully legible. Some very light wear is noticed on the lower edge, toward the open end. The corners are sharp all the way around, which is rare in itself! The only reason that this cover is not graded as NM is due to the lower left corner tip of the back slick having torn away at some point in the past; probably contributed by insufficient adhesive upon manufacture. A very original and highly attractive cover!      INNER SLEEVE: The original gray RCA Victor sleeve from the era.
BONUS 1963 PHOTO CALENDAR: NM- and does not appear to have ever been "hung up" anywhere. I do see some very slight bending to a couple of the corners, but it is so minor and not noticed until you scrutinize the calendar. I do believe that anyone would be hard-pressed in locating a finer example! These calendars are very scarce and rarely offered. It is unknown exactly how many were included in the "Girls! Girls! Girls!" albums, but the supply had to be extremely limited.

GOOD LUCK!   I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. I HAVE RESUMED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! Please do not ask me to tilt my integrity by placing a low value on the Customs form or by checking "Gift" instead of "Merchandise". I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer (within the U.S. and Canada only). ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated.  Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.  Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2017 marks 39 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
