Description
This is an original (plus 1st pressing) 1957 copy of Elvis Presley’s EP ‘Good Rockin’ Tonight’ on HMV.
Featuring songs not so much associated with Presley as R&B and Rockabilly generally, this EP is a fantastic example of his vocals which the uninitiated may be less accustomed to. This particular release featured ‘Just Because’ instead of the later ‘That’s All Right’.
This particular copy is without the original sleeve as it has been kept in a jukebox collection - but is in very good condition for its age!
There is minor background noise on A and B 1, which is less noticeable once the instrumentation kicks in. A and B 2 are clearer throughout but with minor background hiss.
I’ve graded VG+ as no skips/clicks/pops, but there is minor background noise throughout - please bear in mind this was released in 1957 and hardly a high fidelity recording when initially recorded!
