Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1968 single Guitar Man / Hi Heel Sneakers released in the USA.

The record itself (47-9425 )is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.

There are a few light marks/scratches (nothing too deep or drastic though)

The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING. (see photos)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $45-50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.(see photos)

There are NO SPLITS,RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!!

The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some scuff marks/ringwear and some small pin holes from where a couple of staples have been removed.(see photos)

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

THIS IS THE RARER 2nd ISSUED SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " ELVIS' GOLD RECORDS VOLUME 4 (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating "COMING SOON")

This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60(£39 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £42.

I will start this at under HALF OF THAT!!!
