ELVIS PRESLEY - “HOW GREAT THOU ART” (LSP-3758), A FIRST PRESSING OF ELVIS' 1967 GRAMMY AWARD WINNING, GOSPEL ALBUM
RECORD: VG with a great deal of original gloss remaining! There are many light surface scuffs and scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. This Hollywood pressing was test-played in its entirety. There were no skips or repeats, although there is some light to moderate surface noise and random "ticks". The labels are very clean and attractive, but do show some light spindle marks. This album was released in March of 1967 and includes the title song as well as the 1965 hit single, "Crying In The Chapel". The Matrix numbers end with 4S/3S respectively. COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. However, there is some ring wear on both sides. The spine as well as the upper and lower edges are fully legible and solid, but for just a small amount of light shelf wear. Some additional wear is seen on the corner tips. A very clean, attractive cover! INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40D) sleeve from the era.
