Description

This is a very hard to find first pressing of Heartbreak Hotel, recorded January 10, 1956, released in record stores on January 27, 1956. For an extremely brief time period, songwriter Mae Axton's name was misspelled as Axpon on only a few labels before the labels were corrected to the correct spelling of Axton. I've looked all over the internet and do not see another one like this for sale. The record sounds great, but has a few hairline scratches that do not affect play.
