Description
An Elvis Presley Hound Dog/Don't be Cruel HMV UK 1st Press 10" 78 RPM 1956 Single Record.
Catalogue No POP 249. Matrix Nos G2-WB-5935-1 and G"-WB-5936-1.
The record looks to be in good condition with only light scuffs to the shellac and some slight spindle trace around the centre hole. The record has a few finger prints on it so would probably benefit from a gentle clean and unfortunately I have not been able to play it as I do not have any equipment to play 78 rpm records on.
The original sleeve is in good condition for it's age with some creases and a small hole in the base where the record has dug into it (see photo 10) and on the rear it has a name and the number 272 written in pencil on the top right hand corner (see photo 11).
