Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1969 EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND release of How Great Thou Art / His Hand In Mine released in the USA.
The vinyl record itself (74-0130)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $200 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 48 years old and is quite nice for the age.
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some light creases/ringwear/scuff marks and some nibble marks to the top and sides.(see photos)
On the plus side there are NO SEAM SPLITS and NO WRITING!!!
This also has the added charm of having the Original shop stamp price / seal on both sides. (see photos)
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $240(£200 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £210+.
