Description
Here we have a collection of Seven ORIGINAL black-label RCA albums. I see 5 silver-spots and two red-spots.
I'm not an Elvis collector, these came to me in a job-lot. Feel free to ask questions!
My pictures are the albums for sale. As you can see, covers are in nice condition. None of them has handwriting or drawing on.
Records aren't in the very best of condition - I'll get to that.
Here's some basic info -
Elvis Is Back - Wallet-type cover, so front is only one sheet of card thick - slightly curled, with a bend/fold at bottom right corner.
Something For Everybody - Very good cover, a little wear / bending at opening
Roustabout - Very good cover, a little wear / bending at opening, couple of marks on back
Pot Luck Excellent cover, a little wear and discoloration at opening (where laminate doesn't go right to the edge)
King Creole - Good cover, small tear at opening, front a little creased, some marking (ringwear etc) on back
Elvis Christmas Album - VG cover, small split at top of opening and small bits missing at opening. Laminated both sides, very fresh. Lower flip-back starting to come un-stuck.
Elvis - Very nice, slight ring-wear marks on back. This ISN'T his second album - I've blown-up the tracklist in my photos, and done a scan of back. Catalogue No is RD-27120
Condition of the records - I've cleaned these, to get fingerprints and grime off. That done, I can see the condition. These have been played a lot over the years, but not left on the floor and danced-on. Most of them show one or more proper scratches, and surface marks. I'm not seeing LONG heavy scratches, and most of the tracks may well play nicely.
