DISC IS SUPERB MINT-.  ONLY ONE MINOR 1/2 SECOND OF ALMOST INAUDIBLE STATIC AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF SIDE TWO, BEFORE THE MUSIC BEGINS, CAN BE HEARD.  THIS IS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE WAY THE DISC  LEFT THE PRESSING PLANT.  THERE IS THE MOST MINOR, VISIBLE ONLY WHEN VIEWED DIRECTLY UNDER A HIGH INTENSITY HALOGEN OR OTHER BRIGHT BULB, TINY TINY BIT OF ULTRA LIGHT , FEATHERY SCUFFING ALONG THE VERY EDGE OF THE RUN IN GROOVE.  IT IS INVISIBLE WHEN VIEWED INDER NORMAL DAYLIGHT, OR INDIRECT ROOM LIGHT.  THE DISC IS AS CLOSETOMINT AS ONE COULD HOPE A 44+ YEAR OLD VINYL DISC TO BE.  I GUARANTEE THIS DESCRIPTION TO BE TOTALLY ACCURATE.

OK, AS REGARDS THIS RELEASE, WHAT MAKES IT SO RARE & DESIRABLE AMONGST ELVIS FANS WORLDWIDE.  THIS DISCS MERITS ARE SO OBVIOUS IT SEEMS A BIT REDUNDANT TO EVEN MENTION THEM.

IT'S THE UNBELIEVABLE PICTURE SLEEVE THAT MAKES THIS A CANDIDATE FOR THE COOLEST ELVIS PICTURE SLEEVE OF THEM ALL.  AS ANY ELVIS COLLECTOR KNOWS, IT IS HIGHLY UNUSUAL , IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE (?) TO FIND A SLEEVE WITH ELVIS PLAYING ANY INSTRUMENT EXCEPT GUITAR, AND THERE ARE NOT EVEN THAT MANY OF THOSE .. BUT PLAYING THE DRUMS??

UNHEARD OF!!  EXCEPT HERE.  SEEING IS BELIEVING, THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY A CANDIDATE FOR  THE COOLEST & MOST UNIQUE ELVIS PRESLEY SLEEVE EVER RELEASED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.  THE STUNNING GRAPHIC, THE AMAZING COLOR, THE ULTRA COOLNESS OF THE 1950'S ERA PHOTO, ALL COMBINE TO MAKE THIS AN ULTIMATE ELVIS PRESLEY ITEM.  1000'S OF TIMES RARER THAN ANY SUN 45, THIS IS EXTINCT.  IT IS ESSENTIALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN JAPAN, MUCH LESS ANYWHERE ELSE.

BUT, RARE AS IT MAY BE, IN THIS CONDITION IT TRANSCENDS RARITY, IT MAY WELL BE THE FINEST CONDITION COPY OF THIS RELEASE IN EXISTENCE.

SUMMING UP, THIS IS A VERY STRONG CONTENDER FOR THE COOLEST SLEEVE EVER, IN THE  BEST POSSIBLE CONDITION, OF ONE OF THE THE  RAREST EP'S EVER RELEASED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, WITH AN OPENING BID LOWER THAN THE PRICE REALIZED FOR THE ONLY DOCUMENTED SALE I COULD FIND OF A COPY OF THIS EP, WHICH WAS  5 YEARS AGO.




 Condition is  EXCELLENT, Essentially  Mint.  The disc plays superbly, with only the tiniest bit of almost inaudible run in crackle at the beginning of As Long As I Have You, lasting perhaps 1/2 second.  The music plays loud & clear, with NO POPS, NO SKIPS, NO intrusive surface noise whatsoever.  This is an excellent condition vinyl, with oceans of gloss, luster & shine.  the most minor light hairlines  or paper scuffs may be seen, at the very outer edge of the disc,if viewed directlly under bright light, but the vinyl minimally grades as M- condition, and plays faultlessly. Superb condition for a 44+ year old original vinyl disc.  The labels are perfectly clean.

I have presented several photo's to illustrate the discs condition.  What may appear in the second picture to be yellowing on the rear of sleeve is not nearly as pronounced when viewed in person.  This is a function of the scanner that I have used, which tends to shadow the lighter tones on a scan , and make them appear to be off color. The back of the sleeve is a glowing, perfect snow white.  The flaps are perfect. It is one of my favorite picture sleeves I have ever seen, certainly one of the the nicest Elvis records I have ever seen.  And I've seen a few.



I have  never seen this EP offered for sale  before.  The cover has fantastic finish & shine,with striking vibrant colors, which are so much more appealing than the flat cardboard used for  USA issued EP's . This is a candidate for the nicest & rarest Elvis EP ever issued anywhere in the world.  A classic photo, 4  classic tracks, from one of his best films, and a mindblowing design add up to create a singular Elvis collectible.  This may be the only chance to add this vintage 1960's issued EP to your collection.
