Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6643 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.(see photos).
The labels are quite bright and have a small numbered sticker on one side , with I think an initial written underneath(see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $75 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT - / VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
THIS IS 1 OF THE 4 SLEEVES ISSUED!!
This sleeve is over 59 years old and there are a few signs of ageing.
There are NO SPLITS , RIPS or TEARS.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/ ringwear , usual glue marks on the rear and a number written in pencil on the front.(see photos)
The sleeve grades as EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+
Overall this was valued at about $100(£65+) back in 2012, so i guess it must be around £70+ now.
I will start this at way under HALF of that!!
THIS WOULD MAKE A SUPERB AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £100+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
