Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL EXOPRT copy of the 1956 release of Hound Dog / Don't Be Cruel released in the U.K.
The record itself (7MC.50 )is visually ONLY in VERY GOOD condition.
There are visually numerous marks/scratches , however i have play tested this and it plays through with NO SKIPS or JUMPS!
It actually plays better than it looks!
The labels have NO WRITING , however there is some non sticky residue tape mark on the Don't Be Cruel side from where a label has been removed (see photos)
The label edges are smooth (not serrated) and the matrix numbers are 7XAV 1471-IN and 7XAV 1472-IN.
The centre has been "dinked out" (as most exports were) to make it suitabe for a jukebox.
This comes in an ORIGINAL HMV Generic sleeve.
This iS a GREAT affordable collection filler until that MINT £300+ copy comes along.
In the condition this is in it still books at £100-150.
I will start this at WAY UNDER THAT!!!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
