Side 1 - Blue Suede Shoes, I Got A Sweetie (I Got A Woman), I'm Counting On You, I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone, That's All Right, Money Honey.
Side 2 - Mystery Train, I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry (Over You), Tryin' To Get You, One Sided Love Affair, Lawdy, Miss Clawdy, Shake, Rattle And Roll.
Let’s go back to October 1956 when this, the first UK Elvis LP, was released – and here it is – in its original cover and inner sleeve. As with my Elvis No 2 LP the attraction of this album is the condition and the sound of the vinyl. As always I bought it myself, this time on Norwood High St, London, SE27 (postal codes hadn’t been invented then) and it’s been in my possession ever since. I believe the photographs give a pretty good idea of how good the vinyl is, no scratches, fuzzy sound or other interference, in fact no marks at all. The cover has survived reasonably well although it is beginning to show its 48 years of age. There is no writing or sticky tape but some signs of ageing round the edges but it retains all of its shiny finish on both sides. Again the photograph gives a good idea of its condition and I will happily e-mail a JPEG file picture if a larger version is required. I’m pretty sure that this would be a pleasing addition to anyone’s Elvis collection.
