I am not a store or online retailer. This will NOT be an HTML listing that looks pretty, but it is a listing that contains a REAL AUTHENTIC piece of Rock n Roll History.
Elvis Presley SUN 209 That's All Right/Blue Moon of Kentucky
Goldmine Standard: Vinyl VG++ to Mint Labels VG+
VERY RARE ORIGINAL SUN #209 recording of That's All Right. Record has Three Push Marks on the center of the disc.
The matrix numbers U-128-45-72 and U-129-45-72 noticeable on the outer grooves; the last two digits (72) are approximately 1/2 inch from the other digits.
This record comes from the personal collection that belonged to my mother. The labels are VG+. Very Very Clean. On the That's All Right side there is a "10" which was the label she used to index the record in her personal collection. It's located directly under the "Vocal U-128" On the left side of each label, there is a small tear which looks to be normal from the spindle. These records are the real deal. The labels are in such pristine condition that the 3 punch marks are hardly visible but they are 100% present. The punch hole to the right side of the Blue Moon label is not perforated at all and neither is the punch hold located in the bottom half of the "S" in SUN at the top of the label. The other punch hole is the only noticeable one and it's located in the word "Blue" toward the bottom of the label in the title. I did my best on the photos, but it's difficult to take photos that do this record justice.
Vinyl is very nice on this record, almost flawless and grooves are very clean. Has been stored in plastic sleeves for many years in our record collection. There are very minor scuffs hardly audible over the noticeable faint background hiss (which is typical for the first SUN pressings), very little bobs, sounds is VERY clear and all details of Elvis's amazing voice are audible. Record plays all the way through and it is a pure pleasure to listen to this EXTREMELY RARE piece of Rock N Roll History.
My father and I have been collecting records for many years and this was an extra SUN that we obtained from my mother's personal collection. We have ALL of the original 45's that Elvis recorded with SUN Records and they are all in MINT condition. I have attached a picture of that framed piece with the records for reference.
