Welcome to this no reserve auction for a V+ copy of an RCA Victor 20-6642 shellac 78 copy of
Shake, Rattle and Roll / Lawdy Miss Clawdy by Elvis Presley.
Sorry, but I can only ship this record to the USA.
The winning bidder will have to sign for the box and it will be insured for its final selling price.
IT PLAYS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS, in my opinion.

Grade:
V+; not as good as E-. UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT, this record looks dull with slight graying in the grooves. Some scuffs and surface scratches; however, however, IT PLAYS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS.
Grading Criteria:
V+ " . . . is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced."
Physical Description:
No audible scratches, no chips, cracks or flakes.
A Side Label: 6 larger spindle trails.
A Side Trail Off Markings: G2 WB 1294-2S. There is a bump in shellac in the trail off.
B Side Label: 3 smaller spindle trails on the label; shellac defects under the label.
B Side Trail Off Markings: G2 WB 1295 2S. There is a bump in shellac in the trail off.
Packing:
This 78 has been carefully placed in a sleeve (the RCA sleeve I bought it with is also included) between two pieces of carboard. The cardboard has been wrapped in Saran Wrap and then in bubble wrap. The wrapped record and sleeves were then placed in a 14 x 13 x 6 box with packing peanuts under it, between it and the inner walls of the box and on top.
