Description
Elvis Presley: Rare Elvis, Vol. 3 (Germany Rca import vinyl album, Rca PL-89 051). This is one of my favorite Elvis albums. When Paul Dowling played the alternate take of "Your Cheatin' Heart" in Memphis during Elvis tribute week in the early 1980's, the track was only available on the USA Reader's Digest white box-set. I was so knocked out by that track that I paid $150 to get the box-set so I could have that track. Then, of course, it showed up all over the place: on a U.K. ep, Rare Elvis #3, one of the Essential Elvis albums, etc. Luckily, I was able to sell the box-set, so all's well that end's well, or such. Anyway, that track is on here + other outtakes & the "His Latest Flame" session, where you can hear Elvis assemble the song during the various takes. LP comes inside an Rca poly-lined inner-sleeve (see picture #3 above), which is my own little DIG at my dig, ya dig?! ( HOO HOO!!). A great compilation.
Condition: VG++ (vinyl still glossy & appears unplayed). Cover & labels are clean: no writing, tape, etc. & same for covers, except for minor corner ding on bottom.
