ELVIS PRESLEY - "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" (LSP-4445), AN ORIGINAL 1970 RIGID "DEEP GROOVE" VINYL PRESSING AND ON TOP OF THAT, A "PROMOTIONAL COPY"!
RECORD: VG with several superficial scratches on the still-glossy vinyl. I played this record in its entirety and there were some noticeable "ticks" and a little "crackle". Definitely no skips or repeats, however! The Orange "Deep Groove" labels are clean, overall, but do show many spindle marks, although they are light. As early as this pressing is, it is surprising that the matrix numbers are not lower than 3S/3S, but that is what is stamped. Rigid "Deep Groove" copies of this title are downright RARE and are highly sought-after by collectors. Grab this copy today!
COVER: NM and with the shrink wrap still fully intact! The upper left-hand corner on the back is stamped (or imbedded) with "NOT FOR SALE - PROMOTION USE ONLY". This is imbedded so deep that it is transferred onto the inner sleeve!
INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS Stereo 8" Catalog sleeve from the era.
