Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1959 GOLD DTANDARD SERIES EP release ELVIS PRESLEY - The Real Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-5120 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD/ VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.(see photos)
The centre labels have NO WRITING , however do have some ringwear/rubbing and the non sticky remains for where some tape has been removed.(see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $70-75 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 54 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO RIPS or TEARS(see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading even higher is a seam split halfway along the top and a score/pen mark on the front (see photos)
That said , This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection!.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $100(£65 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £70.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases.(please request total invoice when through bidding)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF APRIL 2014
