Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-830 dog on top) is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition with quite a few visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The centre labels have NO WRITING , however do have some ringwear/rubbing(see photos)
This is also the RARE issue WITHOUT SILVER LINE!
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50-55 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 57 years old and is in bright condition for the age.
There are NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!!(see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some age discolouration and seam splits along the top and the bottom (see photos)
That said , This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint record and sleeve come along!!.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£47 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £50.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
