Description

This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 PROMO / DEMO  release " Perfect For Parties " Highlighter Album featuring ELVIS PRESLEY released in the USA.

The record itself (SPA-7-37 dog on top) is ONLY in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD- condition (see photos)

The centre labels are quite bright but have a number written twice in pencil on side 2.

The vinyl shows some of it's natural sheen , however there are some visible marks which stop this grading visually higher.(this has only been visually tested but if i get time i will play test and update description accordingly)

This is the RARER issue WITH HORIZONTAL LINE !.(see photos)

The labels are clearly marked "NOT FOR SALE" on one line.

Elvis ONLY sings Love Me on this 6 track promo EP , However he does introduce all the other tracks, which is kinda cool!!

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50-60  in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is over 55 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.

The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some small nibble marks at the topthe starts of small seam splits at the sides and age discolouration on both sides, some small pieces of the cardboard sleeve flaked but NO WRITING!!!!!(see photos)

This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint £100+ record and sleeve come along.

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

THIS IS THE ONLY ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS I HAVE EVER HAD AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN 10 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $75(£50 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!

PLEASE REMEMBER OVERALL CONDITION OF RECORD AND SLEEVE IF/WHEN PLACING A BID.

THIS WILL MAINLY SERVE AS AN AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £100+ COPY COMES ALONG!!!!
