Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 single Viva Las Vegas / What D'I Say released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8360)is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/scratches (nothing too deep though)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING! (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $30-35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.
This RARE sleeve has NO SPLITS RIPS , TEARS or WRITING! (see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear / scuff marks, creases.
That all said this makes an affordable collection filler until that mint record and sleeve come along!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 1st ISSUED SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "COMING SOON " VIVA LAS VEGAS LP (rather than the later alternative sleeve stating "ASK FOR")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $40(£31 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £32.
