Description
This is an auction for an original copy of the 1968 single We Call On Him / You'll Never Walk Alone released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9600 dog on side) is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
Visually There are a few light marks / scratches (nothing too deep or drastic) but there is some swirl pattern , which looks as though something may have been spilt although you cannot feel anything! (it may clean off with a deep clean)
The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $75 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is ONLY VERY GOOD/ VERY GOOD- )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 41 years old and would grade a lot higher if it was not for a rip to Elvis' face, a seam split and some ringwear on the rear( hence the LOW START!)
That all said this is a great affordable collection filler until that mint £120+ copy comes along
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $85(£56 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £60.
I WILL START THAT AT UNDER A THIRD OF THAT!!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
