Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the Gold Standard Series single Good Rockin Tonight / I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0651 Dog On Top )is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!.
The record is also housed in a period Gold Standard Sleeve (which are quite hard to come by themselves!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is only in VERY GOOD-/GOOD+ condition.
This sleeve is over 45 years old and shows some signs of age..
There are signs of age such as Ringwear,staining, a couple of numbers written on the front,seam splits at the sides and bottom,undelining on some of the tracks listed on the rear and a piece of sellotape at the side(see photos)
A MINT copy of this sleeve is $300+ ALONE!!! (£195)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND!!
The record is also stored in the separate Generic GSS sleeve and a poly sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $160+(£100+) , so i guess it must now be at least £110+.
The reserve is set below HALF OF THAT!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE ONLY ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS RELEASE I HAVE EVER HAD FOR SALE IN OVER 6 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!!
