Elvis “Moody Blue” Album
Up for bid is RCA record AFL1-2428 The “Moody Blue” album, and it is the first U.S pressing from 1977. At first RCA wanted to do a limited run of the blue vinyls than continued with regular pressing of the black vinyls. All that changed when Elvis passed away on August 16th 1977. To honor Elvis passing, RCA went back to the blue vinyls. This makes the black vinyls pressing low number; it is believed that only 25,000 copies of the black vinyls were produced. It been 30 years now, the number should be even lower, and this become increasingly harder to find in a nice condition.
The cover is very nice and it in near mint condition. The front and back display beautifully, no ring wear, no cut out, no seams split and no writing. The spine is beautiful, all writing are clear and legible. The record is in mint condition, not a single scratch. It is pressed on a black vinyl and it had all that beautiful gloss and sheen, Good luck on this one!
