Description

Title: "Elvis" Rare 1968 1st Pressing with Orange Label on Vinyl

Catalog Number: LPM-4088

Condition Of Item: Cover NM / Vinyl NM

A Closer Look: By 1968 Elvis career had hit a low place as he had been filming formula movies rock and roll had passed him by. Record sales were lagging but RCA continued to reissue old material, however, the pressing numbers were very low in 1968. What remains today is a great collectable as most of the 1968 re-issues are very rare. Late in 1968 Elvis would do a TV Special and within a year he would be in Vegas and he would be on top again.

This is the original first pressing of "Elvis" (NBC TV Special) and this is an amazing survivor. This cover is still in its original shrink wrap and in great mint shape, not a flaw to be found. The record is the original first pressing as well on vinyl and it too is in near mint condition, this is not one to be missed, amazing first pressing album, just like new.

Note on Packaging: All items are in shipped in record boxes. All records are packaged outside their covers to prevent any sort of ring wear from developing or seam splits in transit.
