Further Details
This album has the super rare Orange Rigid (deep groove) label. It is a tough label variation to find indeed, and is the last Elvis album to be pressed on this label. The record itself initially visually looks to be VG+, but under brighter lights, I will call it VG. Although it should play well. It is unfortunate, but “Vicki” signed her name in pen on the labels of both sides of the album.


Items of Note
For those who may remember, every night Walter Cronkite ended his nightly news telecast on the CBS Evening News with his famous line, “And that’s the way it was, on …” The title of this album (also the title of the accompanying Elvis documentary film) is a fun play on that nightly send off.
