Today's Auctions: If you have been following my Elvis auctions in recent months you will know I have pulled out all the stops in some incredible rarities. Well today continues that theme with probably some of the nicest very rare EP's I have ever seen. Four out of the five EP's today are on the Maroon Label and most everything here is mint. This is the creme of the crop of my c0llection, including the three Touch of Golds that I guarantee you will never find nicer. If you looks for the best of the best, check out today, this opportunity probably will never come again, certainly I will never be privledged again to offer such a stunning set of super rare records. Please take a l0ok at these great items, it will be well worth your time!
No Closer Look At the Item: This is Volume 2 of the "Touch of Gold" Series that again appears here on the very rare MAROON label, RCA's Classical label that somehow found its way onto an Elvis release. I have had this in my collection for nearly 30 years, but today I am offering it for sale. This EP is simply MINT, the MAROON LABEL record is simply perfect, whenever I have displayed my Elvis collection this record and the next two are always among the premier pieces. This cover is just simply beautiful, looks like you just picked it up in your local radion station 52 years ago. I know mint is an overused term in record collecting, but this one fits that bill, just a perfect survivor. The record like the cover is also stone mint, it surely has never been played, I have had it for most of is life and I know it has never been near a needle, it simply is just one incredible original record and cover on the impossible to find MAROON label in this shape. The book from several years ago had this at $600, this is the second rarest of the Touch series, it should be valued higher than this, and of course this dark black label is very hard to find without wear, well you have! If you like to buy Elvis records for the colletability, as well as their investment standpoint, investing in this is a sure bet, it simply will continue to rise in value, rarity and mint shape is a combo that cannot be beat. Thanks for looking!

Rating Guide:
Mint (M): Perfect in every way, looks to have never been played, should have that look just as it did when you pulled the record from the new cover at the time of original purchase.
Mint Minus (M-): A nearly perfect record and cover. This item should show no readily visible signs of wear, covers and sleeves should have no more than nearly invisible rings or other signs of slight wear and vinyl should still be completely glossy and shiney, just the very lightest hint of wear if it is tilted to very bright light.
Very Good Plus (VG+): This record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled carefully by the previous owner. Record surfaces will show some light signs of paper scuffing or light scratches, that don't affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK. This disc should still contain much of its original luster and sheen. The covers and picture sleeves should also be in very nice shape, they may have light ring wear or other signs of wear, may have a small cut out hole, indention or stamping present. Also there can be non obvious writing on the paper goods.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in the VG+ record and cover will be present but more pronounced in the VG item. Surface noise will be evident, although the record should play through without skipping or repeating. Groove wear will now be noticable, scuffing and light scratching will be appearent, a scratch now can be felt with a fingernail. Labels will be marred with tape or tape residue, stickers or descret writing. The same will be true for the LP cover or picture sleeve.
Good (G): Good does not mean bad! A record in good condition should be placed on a turntable and it should play through, all though the surface noise will be evident. A cover or picture sleeve will have seam splitting, especially on the bottom seam or spine. Also there will be noticable ring wear caused by the presence of the record. The defects will start to overwhere this item.
Fair (F) or Poor (P): This record will be cracked, badly warped, and will not play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeeve or LP cover will show lots and lots of wear, the seams will be split on all three sides barely able to hold the record. This item will appear near valueless, unless of course it is a rarity that may not be seen again.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
