Description

I am a 40+ year collector of LPs and 45s. All of the LPs, 45s, and CDs I have listed on eBay are from my personal collection.

This is a 4 LP box set titled Elvis Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits, Vol. 1. This is the original orange label first pressing released in August 1970. It is catalog number LPM-6401. All LPs are mono. The set includes a full color photo booklet of Elvis. The LPs are the flexible vinyl that RCA introduced in 1970.

I acquired this box set decades ago and have never played it. I closely inspected the vinyl and, based on my visual inspection of the vinyl and labels, it does not appear that these LPs have ever been played. I could find no marks, scuffs, lines, or scratches. There is one very light feint mark on one of the LPs. This is a light surface mark created by the static between the vinyl and the paper sleeve when loading the record into the sleeve. I have stored these LPs in rice paper sleeves since I acquired them. I could see no tracks around the spindle holes that would indicate these LPs have ever been on a turntable.

The photo booklet is mint. It is perfectly flat with no creases or marks anywhere on the pages of the booklet.

The box is flawless but I'll grade it M- just because its been sitting around in my collection for about 40 years. I have had a protective polyethylene sleeve on this box since I acquired it.

The inner paper sleeves are M-.
