Description
Following their acclaimed debut “Gone With The Flow”, Germany’s genre-blending heavyweights return with a powerful new full-length that pushes their sound further into darker, more dynamic territory.
“Descending” showcases Elwood Stray’s signature mix of anthemic melodies, punchy modern hardcore, and a raw emotional edge, all wrapped in sharp production and even sharper songwriting. The balance between clean vocals and fierce shouts has never been more compelling, giving the world some insight on where this band and their music can go.
Building on their unique fusion of rock, metalcore and nu-metal influences, “Descending” is the sound of a band confidently evolving without losing sight of their roots. From their breakthrough EP “Burn The Bridge” (2017) to their 2020 compilation “Triality”, Elwood Stray have consistently carved their own path, and “Descending” is the sound of a band fully stepping into their own identity. The Ruhrpott-based five-piece stay true to what has always defined them: handmade music with heart and heaviness. No gimmicks. No gloss. Just real songs that hit hard and stay with you.
Elwood Stray are ready to leave their mark in the heavy music world once again. Brace yourself, and join the ride.
