Description
These are my copies of Emerson Lake & Palmer's Trilogy, Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition, and Brain Salad Surgery.
The quality of the vinyl - I have listened to all 4 LP's and would comment as follows:
Trilogy: Excellent - There are 5 light ticks on Endless Enigma, 7 very light ticks on Trilogy and 4 light ticks on Abaddon's Bolero. Otherwise playback is clean.
Tarkus: Excellent - There are 2 light ticks on Infinite Space. Otherwise playback is clean.
Pictures at an Exhibition: Excellent - There are about 13 light ticks across Side A and specifically on The Sage there are 4 light ticks near the start and a further 4 during the track. Otherwse playback is clean.
Brain Salad Surgery: Excellent - There are 2 light ticks at the start of Toccata and a small amount of surface noise near the start of Karn Evil. Otherwise playback is clean.
None of this occasional surface noise affects the overall listening experience in my view.
Quality of the covers (and poster with Brain Salad) is very good - see photos.
[Record Collectors Grading System - EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.]
