How many Osts has the great Ennio Morricone composed? And how many are valid? Practically each one of them. And now another question, how many were released then? Not all. Many were released , many others have been released only as singles. This is our case. This rare 45 features two tracks from two movies made in 1968 Eat it and Partner which were never released on compilations. The two tracks in question are experimental (especially Eat it, even the movie is quite particular) and show mister Morricone enhancing peculiar themes with sinister psych jazz sound or with a mixture of pop, rock and baroque music. DESCRIPTION This comes from my personal collection records Original italian cam picture sleeve edition of this wicked record! A superb ost single that presents a super experimental funk psych jazz tune with doped rhythms and on the flip a fascinating barouque psychedelic vocal pop song. eat it is a spooky instrumental obsessive and sinister track with solid bass sound, hammond, acid jazz trumpet. meanwhile splash is a strange vocal song barouque tinged with a sick popsike taste (a velvet underground’s nico approach) arranged with cembalo, harpsichord. no original ost lps exist of the strange late 60’s italian movie “Eat it” (F.Cesaretti director), so, the only original recording are on this rare record!
