Description
Here's a rare offering: a scarce pre- Benny Goodman performance by the great HELEN WARD who is allotted exactly one chorus by Enric Madriguera on "The Spanish In My Eyes". It's surprising that they even credit Helen on the lable, as Tony Sacco handles the majority of the vocal chores. Thank goodness that soon after this recording date, a fellow named Goodman with an obscure, unknown band hired and featured Ward as a headliner! On the flip, we have the great team of George Olsen and Ethel Shutta with "Another Perfect Day Has Passed Away". (Sorry, but this one's a waltz!). This copy of Royal Blue Columbia 2899-D is a visual E to E+ that plays as new.
