Description
Enrico Mainardi, Bach suite no.3 solo CELLO ::
Audiophile Vinyl Auction
Bach
Suite no.3 in C Major for Violoncello (Unaccompanied)
Enrico Mainardi, Violincello
LONDON LPS 403, 10inch record. Made in ENGLAND, 1951.
The cleaned record has several short light feelable scratches, several tiny clusters of needle scratches , and a few scuff marks. The record plays with occasional background surface noise and tics in the scratched parts. Despite the audiblefaults, it should be noted that the sound is so dynamic on this record that the music is much louder than the background noise.
The cover is quite nice, having only a small piece of tape at top (see photo), couple inch seam split at top right corner, and on the reverse slight discoloring at top and right sides.
This sound quality on this London mono record is astounding.
[I visually grade the record in strong halogen light. I play grade the record by spot checking several areas, especially areas that have marks. I listen using Grado SR325 headphone w/Grado headphone amp, on a Well Tempered Turntable & arm, mcz Grado cartridge. These are very revealing headphones allowing me to hear any surface noise, although from a close-in perspective. Your experience may differ depending on your system. I clean the record if needed to determine the general condition. Most will improve with your preferred cleaning method.] The following shipping prices apply for this record: $4 shipping by media mail in USA. Air to: Canada $11, Europe /Asia, $17. Multiple lots combine shipping. Cost of professional ULine packing material included in shipping prices.
