Description
Erasure - The E-mix - Vinyl 12” Megamix, Oh L’Amour Records NYC 1988.
Very unusual release. Came out of New York in 1988 as a DJ-only 12” vinyl, available only to subscribers to Oh L’Amour Records.
There’s one 10-minute megamix on the A side and another Erasure related track on the B side, both featuring lots of bits and pieces of Erasure songs released up to that point. Very interesting!
Strangely (pun intended), there’s a bonus track on side B - a Bonus Love mix of Strangelove by Depeche Mode.
Note that the label says 78rpm, but the record plays at regular speed (33 or 45rpm, I forget which).
This record was never commercially released for sale. It is very rare.
All round, a very unusual release! One for fans of late 80s Mute Records output, for sure.
All my records are preloved, but have been well cared for, mostly by me. The records I’m selling are either from my personal collection or from people close to me.
I sell all my records as solid player’s copies. They’ve been played, enjoyed and looked after. They’re not mint, still sealed, for collectors only etc.
I hope you play them, enjoy them and look after them, too.
Most of the records I sell are at least in very good condition. If there are any specific known issues, I will point them out. Please also study the photographs, as the item you see is the item you will receive.
These are used records, but never abused records. They might need a light cleaning; there may be some light crackles and pops. That’s vintage vinyl.
Most people totally understand this and I salute you for your common sense approach to collecting records. I’m just making it clear to a small minority of buyers who for some reason expect Spotify-type pristine digital sound from preloved vinyl records and complain hysterically when they don’t get it. They really don’t get it.
I’m selling some of my records for other people like me, who want a particular track, or who want to fill a little gap in their collection, or who are curious about a certain band or record.
Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me. Thank you.
