 The vinyl on this record is excellent - graded Near Mint, appears not have been played.  The cover is also excellent with good construction, corners, edges and gloss.

This truly is a marvelous package!!

Normally, master lacquer discs are cut at 33.33 rpm (real time) the same speed at which you play a record on your turntable.  This disc was cut at half speed  16.66 rpm, while the master tape was also played at half speed.  This allows twice as much time to get every detail, every nuance of sound out of the master tape and into every groove.   YOU WILL HEAR THE DIFFERENCE!!!!

Slowhand is an album by Eric Clapton, released in 1977. It contained three of his most popular singles, the bluesy "Cocaine", the ballad "Wonderful Tonight" and the country-flavoured #3 U.S. hit "Lay Down Sally", as well as other songs that became Clapton classics on their own like "The Core" and "Next Time You See Her". The album proved to be a big success and a step forward after the relative failure of Clapton's previous album, No Reason to Cry. It was both critically and commercially well received, reaching #2 on the Billboard Album Charts, only surpassed by the blockbuster Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. In 2003, the album was ranked number 325 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

VVG    Record itself looks new.  May have very superficial imperfections (light smudging, seen under light angle reflection) , not affecting the playing or sound of the record.

VG++ -  The album may show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, very light scratches, that do not affect listening experience. 

VG+   The album will show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, very light scratches, that may affect the listening experience, especially at low volume times.  There will be no skips. 

VG    Will have obvious signs of wear, lack of original gloss.  Light scratches that may be audible.  Does not skip on my system.

Good - Will probably have scratches or defects that are audible.  Records may be warped.  There could be skipping and /or loud pops. 

All attempts will be made to list other imperfections of the cover such as liquid damage, split seams, tears. missing pieces or other damage in the description.

All 12” vinyl records will ship media mail.  At buyers request most (but not all) single 12” records can ship 1st class mail at no additional charge.  1st class mail may allow the record to arrive a day or two faster especially on the West Coast.  1st class shipping must weigh less then 14oz so what is forfeited is extra packing protection, so I can‘t be responsible for broken records (which seldom happens, but can).  Again, all will ship media mail unless requested by the buyer.
