Description

Eric Dolphy [with Tony Williams, Richard Davis, Bobby Hutcherson, Freddie Hubbard] OUT TO LUNCH Blue Note 4163.  Mono original. Deep Groove (but not that deep, if you know what I mean…)  “Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA” on the label. 43 West 61st Street on the jacket. Disc is NM-: Has been played many times, though carefully. Total of 3 visible, non-sounding marks. Very low-amplitude whisper of the surface state is audible in quieter passages. Inner sleeve is the “25 Years of Blue Note”  catalog print.  Jacket also NM-: Excellent structural integrity, but a little bit of ringwear noticeable on white parts of front and back.


Here’s the first of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
