Eric Dolphy: Out There, US orig. NEW JAZZ/prestige first pressing Promotional/Preview copy. Has 'Preview' stamp on back cover, a small promo-hole in cover and label. THE CONDITION IS OUTSTANDING. Disc shows NO SIGNS of play. Labels are absolutely pristine (except for the hole, of course). I'm sure this was NEVER played until I played it to check it. Before describing the disc, the cover, despite the 'promotional' symptoms (the small hole and the 'Preview' stamp), is MINT(-). Appears absolutely NEW, except for a small corner ding. Everything else about the cover is LIKE NEW. The disc, being unplayed, it still has MINOR issues: a mini-warp in the run-in grooves that doesn't affect play. It is VERY small. Also, is has a a couple of needl-head size spots on track 2, side 1, what produces a few light clicks. Just like the small spots that is mostly present when you open a SEALED LP. Probably originates from a little dirt in the original innersleeve. Yet, there's NO DOUBT, when you put sown the needle, that this is a copy that was never played. The label, as said, has no indications of play. It still has a small slice vinyl sticking up (see pics of centerhole), THE SOUND is INCREDIBLE. RVG stamp in trail off, Deep Groove on label.
