Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4163, Eric Dolphy Out To Lunch, a blue and white, New York USA, deep groove (side 1 only), microgroove label, original mono copy of this great record with Van Gelder and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing minimal signs of wear and playing quietly throughout except for an occasional quiet moment on side 1 track 2 (Something Sweet, Something Tender) where a light background crackle is audible. The original cover, with the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address and Made In USA, shows light shelf and edge wear but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show only light spindle marks. This copy was owned by a famous jazz writer and is part of a small group of original issues I will be listing. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this wonderful original Blue Note mono issue with all the proper markings in place.
