RARE FIND: Original 1966 Blue Note pressing of Eric Dolphy's masterpiece "Out to Lunch"
This is an authentic 1966 pressing of Eric Dolphy's avant-garde jazz classic "Out to Lunch" on Blue Note Records. This revolutionary album features Dolphy's extraordinary multi-instrumental talent alongside Bobby Hutcherson, Freddie Hubbard, Richard Davis, and Tony Williams.
Record Condition: EXCELLENT (EX)
The vinyl is in excellent condition showing only minimal signs of previous play. Very light surface marks may be present but do not affect playback. The record plays with minimal surface noise - all the vibraphone shimmers and Dolphy's bass clarinet textures come through clearly with just occasional minor imperfections.
Sleeve Condition: VERY GOOD+ (VG+)
Original sleeve with Reid Miles' iconic design featuring the Francis Wolff photograph. The top of the sleeve has a small split. No writing. Some light ring wear and shelf wear consistent with age. The damage is superficial and doesn't detract from the overall presentation.
