Description
This is New Jazz Records NJLP 8236 Eric Dolphy Outward Bound, a purple label, deep groove original mono issue with RVG in the dead wax, featuring Freddie Hubbard, Jaki Byard, George Tucker and Roy Haynes. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of use (with only light sleeve marks). The labels are perfect. The original glossy cover is also near mint, however, the back has some bumping on the open edge (see picture) with the original price written in pencil. This is a very strong copy of this extremely rare collector's piece. I have entered a reserve price. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
