Erick Vincent : Je me suis coupé la main / Benares ( Donali Record Paris 102. 1969 ).
Very rare original French only 7' from 1969 on the tiny Donali Records label !!!! Very in demand 7' by Erick Vincent !!!!! directed, orchestred and arrandged by Claude Denjean with the legendary Eddy LOUISS at the organ . ' Je me suis coupé la main ' is a fantastic Psych funky MOD Prog tune with heavy bass line, good organ and flute, well know now in the Mod rally circle. Erick sings he's cut his hand, his finger, his leg anything and a girl answers him. ' Bénarès' is a beautifull eastern psych tune with eastern bits breaks, tablas in the breaks and the vocal melody perhaps just to cheesy. Very hard to find and in demand since it was compiled on the excellent " La Discotheque Psychedelic - Boss A Tone " CD !!!!
