Ernie Shelby ORIG OZ Promo 45 Ducky (so can I) VG+ ’64 R&B Mod dancer Festival
Ernie Shelby
Ducky (So can I)
Original OZ Promo 45" released in 1964 on Festival Records. Cat:FK579.
Ernie Shelby's two early 45s were recorded on the West Coast. The 1st single on Capitol is straight forward pop rather than soul. More intersting is the 2nd single release on Melic. Ducky is an excellent soul mod groover and the B-side is a classic souls tomping version of Summertime.
Tracks: Ducky (So can I)/ Summertime.
There are a few small pen & Pencil marks on A-side of label. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles throughout and is in VG+ condition.
Payment is accepted by Paypal. Within Australia we also accept Direct deposit transfer and Australia Post Money Orders.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
