For sale is a very good condition Etta James 'Call My Name' 33RPM vinyl record. I know very little about the EBay rating/grading system for records. Neither do I have the time to become a student of the business. So I am disclaim myself if I use terminology that contradicts accepted verbiage.
In buying records from someone who wanted to unload, I discovered this LP and played it while I was going through/inspecting others. I became an instant fan. I was thinking, wow, Janis Joplin had to have been an ardent Etta James fan. The influence and similarities are unmistakable.
At any rate, since I am an EBayer who sells a wide variety of things, I thought I would post this record (my first record for sale on EBay ever). As I said, terminology and rating aside, I guarantee that it plays through on both sides and that it sounds freaking awesome on a mono system.
It has a few minor condition issues. 1) There is an abrasion (not a scratch) on the B side. It lays over the first three recordings. It is noiseless. It was likely caused by someone allowing the center record player spindle slide across the record when removing. 2) The lower right hand corner of the jacket shows some minor water damage. 3) It does not have it's original sleeve. 4) The front surface has slight wear commensurate with careful use over a half century.
