Incus Records 27, recorded April 1978. Black-on-white label. Disc is pristine “duirect cut” in the wax. There is on the cover a small circle of price-sticker discoloration in top left of photo, and faintest handling wear, equal on front and back covers. This is one of over 200 LPs being consigned on auction weekly between now and Spring 2007 from the well-kept and thorough collection of the late sculptor Bradford Graves, a key participant in the operations of New York performance space Soundscape. The collection ranges from Art Blakey to Han Bennink, with especially strong showings of Saturn, FMP, ICP, and US private pressings from the early Seventies. Some prizes and surprises in every batch.
