DISC: E (Excellent) Vinyl is glossy with no discernable imperfections at all. Label has a very slight spindlemark on one side and an ultra slight spindle mark on the other, otherwise perfect. I bought this record new and have probably played it less than 10 times.
SLEEVE: E (Excellent) Glossy, extremely minor (tiny) ringwear which is hard to spot, no edge scuffing, corners still sharp. Factory applied limited edition sticker top right of front

ABOUT THE ALBUM Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge is the second studio album by the grunge band Mudhoney. It was recorded in 1991, at a time when the band was thinking of signing to a major record label, but decided to release the album on Sub Pop. The album shipped 50,000 copies on its original release. It is credited with helping to keep Sub Pop in business. Guitarist Steve Turner has said that the album is his "favorite Mudhoney album as a whole." There is an alternate version of "Check-Out Time" on the Let It Slide EP. The album was recorded on low-quality tape via an 8-track desk. It is named after a mnemonic used by music students to recall the notes (EGBDF) on the lines of the treble clef. Along with the band's debut EP Superfuzz Bigmuff, the album was included in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, with reviewer Jason Chow calling it "a classic album, one of the best of the genre."
ABOUT THE ARTIST Mudhoney is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. Mudhoney's early releases on the Sub Pop label, particularly their debut single "Touch Me I'm Sick" and the Superfuzz Bigmuff EP, were massively influential on the Seattle music scene. More than almost any other release of the era they inspired the dirty, high-distortion sound that would become grunge. Later on, Mudhoney also mixed heavy blues rock and punk rock into their sound at various stages. Although the band has found little commercial success during its long career, which has yielded ten studio albums, it has inspired countless grunge and alternative rock musicians.
